She first graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Optometry in 2014. She furthered her studies and graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Salus University, USA, with a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Optometry in May 2015 and a Master of Science in Clinical Optometry in December 2016.

During her Master’s degree course, Davina was attached to a clinic in Salus University, Philadelphia, USA, where she had hands-on practice seeing patients with a wide variety of eye diseases. She learned valuable clinical knowledge and skills from the course and the clinical attachment.

Prior to joining International Eye Cataract Retina Centre, Davina practised in a retail optical shop for four years. She is proficient in contact lens fitting, ophthalmic dispensing and comprehensive eye examination using a range of diagnostic instruments.

Davina has been active with organising Continuing Professional Education (CPE) lectures for practicing optometrists and opticians since April 2018 and became Chairman of the CPE programme on 1 January 2019. She was also Chairman of the Registration & Public Relations Subcommittee for the Singapore Primary Eye Care Symposium (SPECS) 2018.

Davina has volunteered her time and expertise in several eye screenings both locally and overseas. In addition, she has participated in other community services helping the elderly in the community. She also enjoys sports like swimming and judo.[/fusion_text][/four_fifth][/fullwidth]
