The popular Chinese TV series and by Mediacorp were aired between 2014 and 2017 over 473 episodes in total on local TV Channel 8. is a follow up sequel to these two series and revolves around the original casts from and . The new series, currently being produced, depicts the heart-warming daily happenings in the “118 Coffee Shop”.
The casts in this new TV series include famous actors and actresses such as Chew Chor Meng (周初明), Pan Lingling (潘玲玲), Dennis Chew (周崇庆), Sora Ma (马艺瑄), Ya Hui (雅慧), Chen Han Wei (陈汉伟), Charles Lee (李家庆), Somaline Ang (洪凌), Sheila Sim (沈琳宸), Kate Pang (庞蕾馨), Hor Ying Ying (何盈莹), Richie Koh (许瑞奇) and Zong Zijie (宗子杰).
International Eye Cataract Retina Centre at Farrer Park Hospital was the venue for a shoot in the series on 21 September 2017. Staff from the centre were delighted to meet actor Zen Chong and actress Sora Ma in person during the shoot.
